Inviting Users
Invite people to report on your projects, manage access, and revoke seats.
Invite
- Open Users → Invite user in the dashboard (
/access/invite). - Enter the person’s email (and optional name).
- Select one or more Projects they should be able to report on.
- Send the invite.
They receive an email with an Accept invite link. After accepting (and setting a
password if they’re new), they’re told to open the SnagRelay Chrome extension and click
Sign in with the same email. They can also open
Your access (/users/access) for the same
instructions — and an Unlock button if a Project requires web widget authentication.
Inviting users is available on paid plans. If you’ve hit your plan’s user seat capacity, the dashboard will say so and offer an upgrade — see Plans & Limits.
Managing users
On Users (/access/users):
- Expand a row to add or remove Projects. Changes apply on the next extension sync or report submit. Save projects only appears when the selection actually changed.
- Resend invite — pending invites only; sends a fresh invite email.
- Resend access — active users only; emails a new access link. Their Chrome extension stays signed in.
- Revoke — removes access to your Projects.
A row shows signed in once that person has connected the Chrome extension.
What users can and can’t do
Invited users can submit bug reports for Projects you assigned. They cannot open your project dashboard, change settings, or see other owners’ data.
