Inviting People
How an invite works: the email, the one-time link, and what the invitee does next.
The invite
The project owner invites a person by their email address. SnagRelay sends them a one-time magic link, valid for about 60 minutes.
The link opens Your access. No dashboard account is created.
There's no seat limit. You can invite anyone on any plan.
Same person on every project
People are matched by the tracker user they are on a connected project (a Trello member, a Jira account, an Azure, Linear, GitHub, or GitLab user). When you invite someone on one project, the same email is applied to your other projects of the same tracker where that person has the same tracker user id, so they only need one invite. Another tracker's people aren't affected, and nobody else's projects are touched.
If they lose the invite
They can open /users/access, enter the email they were invited with, and click Send link
to get a new one. The owner can also send the invite again. Requesting a new link doesn't sign
them out of a Chrome extension that's already connected.
What invited people can and can't do
They can file bugs (from Chrome and, when configured, the web widget). They can't open your project dashboard, change settings, or see billing.
