Team
Invite tracker people to report and fix — they never become dashboard users.
The owner is the only person with a SnagRelay dashboard account. Everyone else who should report or fix lives on the project Team list. Those people are synced from your connected tracker (Jira, Linear, Trello, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps). They never get a dashboard login.
You invite them from the Team card on the project Overview tab — add their email, then Invite. That uses a seat on your plan (the owner does not count). See Inviting from Team.
After they open the magic link they land on Your access
(/users/access) and connect Chrome, VS Code / Cursor, or a web unlock — they never
see your dashboard.
Why Team is separate from the owner account
- Web / WordPress installs use a project API key in the page or plugin. Anyone who can load the site can open the widget (unless you turn on authenticated users).
- The Chrome extension runs as a signed-in person. Owners click Sign in as owner. Invited teammates open their access email, then Authenticate Chrome — no password, no token to copy.
- VS Code / Cursor is the same split: owners Sign in as owner; teammates use Authenticate VS Code / Cursor from the access page (when your plan includes MCP).
Inviting from Team is a paid-plan feature; seat capacity depends on your plan (shown in the dashboard when you hit a limit). See Plans & Limits.
