Users

Invite people who can report bugs, without giving them dashboard access.

Users are people who file bugs through SnagRelay — QA, clients, PMs, contractors — without needing access to your project dashboard.

You manage them under Users in the app (/access):

TabWhat it’s for
Invite userSend an email invite for one or more Projects
UsersSee who’s invited/active, change project access, resend, or revoke

After they accept, they sign in from the Chrome extension or unlock a web session on Your access — they never see your dashboard.

Why users are a separate flow

  • Web / WordPress installs use a project API key in the page or plugin. Anyone who can load the site can open the widget (unless you turn on authenticated users).
  • The Chrome extension install channel uses each person’s SnagRelay account. They click Sign in in the extension (email/password or Google) — no token to copy. That keeps reporting attributable, lets you revoke one person without rotating everyone, and avoids putting your owner secret on customer sites.

Inviting users is a paid-plan feature; seat capacity depends on your plan (shown in the dashboard when you hit a limit). See Plans & Limits.
